TIPS FOR PACKING

Do not use light weight polythene bags – they will be sure to tear.  Use instead the strong garden variety.

Utilise any suitcases, travel bags, roof boxes, etc. which you may have to pack linens or any other items. 

When packing boxes use newspaper, towels or other linens wrapped round delicate items like china etc.

Pack items like kettle, tea coffee etc, at the last minute in a special box which will be on hand when you arrive at your new house – moving is thirsty work!

Do not overfill boxes, they will be too heavy to carry and may split.

Label all boxes with the items inside and the rooms they belong to.
